You should add the license into metadata for the asset pack(s):

"Edit asset pack->Metadata->Release Info->License for assets" It will increase the size of audience that will be able to find your art

I know this has been out for awhile now, but since this is a dungeon-based asset, will you be adding any other elements such as collectibles?  I think health potion bottles would be a nice touch!  Or if not here, possibly a small sub pack with collectibles related to the entire series.  I think it would add a lot to the packs as a whole.  I love your art style and was just giving some of my opinions.  Feel free to tell me to shut up, lol.  Have a lovely day/night!

Never shut up! Feedback is my biggest motivator! I actually have plans to update this asset pack a little to match the new fantasy_ pack, after that I would like to make a UI and items pack for collectibles/resources etc… Unfortunately I’ve been super busy and haven’t really had the motivation/time to work on this series in a while, but if you want a more complete package with items, some UI and more you can always check out bitByBit_, it has a lot more UI stuffs and items, and I actually have an update for it I hope to publish tonight that will make it even easier to build a whole game with just that pack. Thank you again for the feedback and I hope this helps!

Thank you, friend.  I saw bitByBit after I made my comment.  It looks really good!  If you do end up updating this pack, I will more than definitely download it.  I love the art style of these packs so having a more complete set would be amazing, but don't feel rushed in any way! Speaking of the Fantasy pack, since all the biomes are included in that one pack (sans this one), are the individual packs obsolete or did you throw them all into one big asset pack?  Anyway, thank you for the reply!

I’m still planning on releasing the packs individually, but I realised I just had the artwork laying around for all of them for so long and I just wanted to get them out there all together, so I guess so a little bit, but it’s also nice to get a preview of each biome separately and see a bit more of the potential of each pack, I also have sprite packs planned for each biome (including the village!)

I unfortunately have A LOT of artwork very nearly finished but just not quite ready to publish, and I usually just have bursts of motivation that carry me through a few packs at a time with long gaps of nothing haha

I feel you on that.  I have been slowly getting back into vector art and at first I was all about it, and then I had all these things I had started and have not finished any of them, haha.  Sometimes you feel extremely motivated and other days, life just happens and the motivation falls away.  I also get distracted easily, so I have to keep myself from getting too distracted.  Good luck in all the updates you have planned!  I'm excited to see what you publish.  :)

Thanks a lot !

Hey! We recently used this tileset(and some of your other ones too) for a game we made for the Raylib 5K gamejam and we got 1st place! 🥳

Thank you for the AWESOME tilesets and artstyle, looking forward to seeing more.

Here is the game if you would like to check it out: https://tradam.itch.io/orc-arena-of-time

Haha, I really love what you've made and  congratulations on 1st place!

Hey, could I please ask how you learned Raylib? I wanted to learn C++ Game Dev for a while but haven't found any resources.

Please how can I slice this in Unity? Can you make a tutorial or a read me file?

I am actually planning on updating the asset pack soon to make it a lot easier to use…including a new read me file!

You're really talented. I don't have any use for this right now but it's really cool! Thanks for sharing it!

Thank you!

Hey! FYI: Do you know that the license link is refer the CC-4 license instead of CC-0. :)

amazing work!

I did not :) I will fix that ASAP

ok! Great :) I wrote you on twitter, to try to DM you. Do you see?

(+1)

Yes I see...I will write to you now

Your art is really cool. It's low resolution yet doesn't seem like it. The characters and the tileset fit in really well together, and the entire style looks really cool. If I ever get around to making a dungeon crawler (without guns xD) I will probably try this tileset out.

Thank you! And I look forward to (possibly) seeing it!

Hi, I'm using this tile with unity, how big are the tiles ? I tried 16x16 but unity crops them badly

They are 16x16...it is because they are in 2 'layers', with the wall tiles sitting 'on top' of the floor tiles :) I made it this way to make it easier to create depth and have the player walk behind walls etc...

oh ok, thank you so much for the answer!!

does this have png, i havent downloaded it but if does have png files ill download it.... cool artwork!!!! like seperate png tiles

(1 edit)

Yes...all of my assets are .png files

i mean 1 tile = 1 png cause my software does not support tilesets... if u can i will download it!

1 tileset = 1 png

not this i meant this so it is seperate from the tile set

Ah! I can see what I can do!

great work man

Thank you!

Awesome stuff as always! I'd love to see castle exteriors!

I am working on a castle_ tileset at the moment! Although I’m going to focus on sprite work for the next few weeks…
